Expertise
Extensive experience in urban and regional economics, housing economics, real estate finance, and urban public policy. Recent articles in refereed journals and chapters in books focus on green investment strategies in urban neighborhoods, neighborhood distributions of subprime lending, geospatial analysis for valuation models, and GSE lending to the underserved mortgage market.

Experience
Prior to First American CoreLogic, Dr. Gillen was research fellow at the Penn Center for Urban Research, research analyst at HUD, OFHEO, and the Federal Reserve, and a vice president at Econsult Corporation. Consulting clients include the City of Philadelphia, the MacArthur Foundation, Wal-Mart, GE Capital, Harvard University, and the U.S. Geological Survey.
