Expertise
In-depth knowledge and understanding of mortgage capital markets, the U.S. mortgage finance system, and modeling and analytics of fixed-income securities, derivatives, mortgage credit performance, securitization, structured finance, and mortgage-related data. Expertise working with trustees, dealers, servicing platforms, other industry data sources to build and maintain LoanPerformance’s industry-leading mortgage databases. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Experience
Prior to joining LoanPerformance, Mr. Santiago was an independent consultant with mortgage-related clients including Goldman Sachs, Freddie Mac, the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, Deutsche Bank, Abt Associates, Mortgage Information Corporation, and Kidder Peabody. He also built industry forecasting models for Dana Corporation (an automotive supplier) and provided derivatives expertise to the New York State Insurance Department. Prior to consulting, he managed collateral analysis groups at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers.
